Oasis

Oasis is an evolving ministry serving the body of Christ worldwide.

We have served as a Registed Charity (No 1029128) under the name of Oasis Community Trust since 1993 with the remit to proclaim the gospel according to the doctrines and principles of the Christian faith. We have been moving towards that ever since.

We provide facilities for rest and renewal for both Leaders and individuals on request.  Please click here to get in touch!

what we believe

God is trinity:
-God the Father loves all people.

-God the Son, Jesus Christ, is Saviour and healer, Lord and King.

-God the Holy Spirit indwells Christians; imparts the dynamic power by which Christian are enabled to continue Christ’s ministry.

The Bible
is the divinely inspired authority in matters of faith, doctrine, conduct and
the basis for teaching.

Staff

Beryl Moore – Bible Teacher

Radically converted in 1984 and called into the healing ministry a few years later.

Beryl writes..

Studying the Word has always been my delight. For me, it is imperative to see people discipled in the Word as they are healed, delivered and walking strong with the Lord…hearing Him for themselves.

My heart is that all God’s people would know and experience the outrageous love of God. I currently take the lead in all the teaching and training that takes place within Oasis

.

Joyce Mclntyre – House Manager

Radically converted in 1985 6 years later called to leave home in Wales to serve the body of Christ in Kent.

Joyce writes…

I have lived at Oasis Centre with Beryl since 1991; and when the Trust rented its first house in 1996 I became the House Manager.

I am in charge of the practical affairs associated with running the Oasis Centre.

Trustees

Deborah Preddie

Deborah has had an international upbringing living in places like Trinidad and Tobago and New York, but was kept grounded by the Christian values instilled in her by her family.

As part of her spiritual journey, she came to faith over a decade ago and has since worked on deepening her relationship with God through prayer, fellowship and study.

Any journey needs an Oasis, and the Oasis Community has been Deborah’s “fertile land in the desert” for over ten years. Her physical journey now finds her in Hackney with a desire to continue to see God’s hand move in a mighty way.

Tim Paternoster

Tim would have called himself a Christian from a very young age; however, it has been over the last 10 years that God brought him into a life-changing relationship with Himself which has radically changed his Christian walk.

During this time the Lord has placed upon Tim‘s heart a passion for leading others into a deeper relationship with Him and an experience of life to the fullest and the freedom that He brings.

Tim is currently a teacher and uses these gifts together with leading, preaching and discipling within his local church. His heart for the extension of God’s Kingdom built upon truth, coupled with the love and ministry seen at Oasis Community has led him into this role as a trustee.

Susan Corbett

Susan is happily married with three children and lives with husband Robin in Crayford. She likes to take time out from being a stay at home mum by practicing the art of calligraphy.

Susan began her Christian journey around the age of 15 years when a team from Hildenborough Hall visited her secondary school in Kent. The adventure of her walk with the Lord has deepened in recent years having discovered the joys of greater intimacy with the Father.

Her desire is to see all Christians have the opportunity to deeper their relationship with the Lord through good teaching. She has been connected to the Oasis Community since its early days, is a newly appointed trustees and is currently the minutes secretary.

Carol Demunth

Carol became a Christian at the age of 14 through the witness of her peers at a school Scripture Union Fellowship group and has continued to grow in the Lord ever since.

Carol is a Chartered Certified Accountant and serves the Oasis Community as Treasurer and Secretary.
