The House

Front of House
Situated atop of the North Downs, the house Oasis currently occupies is an attractive brick and tile hung property. Built some seven years ago, the interior is light and attractive, being warm and cosy in winter and cool and airy in summer.

Roomy, comfortable and homely, it is easily accessible by train from London (Victoria) to Longfield, Kent, a journey of around 50 minutes. It is also easily accessible by road from the A2/M2/ the M20, and M25/M26.

Laying back from the road there is ample safe parking behind the gates which are closed at night-time.

Inside, there is a large lounge overlooking the garden and a separate dining room. Various little corners can be utilised to hide oneself away and read a book.

The house has five bedrooms, two of which are available for our guests; these are well appointed and comfortable. The other two rooms are occupied by the ‘live-in staff’ Joyce and Beryl.

One twin room or a double room with additional single bed means that no more than four or five people are staying at any one time, keeping the ‘family’ feel.

The fifth bedroom is used as a guest sitting room; this is equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, CD player etc. and ensures that those staying can have absolute peace and tranquillity without being caught up in whatever is happening in the house.

Safe walking is available around and about, but boots are advised if you want to venture down to the fields at the bottom of the Avenue where horses are grazing and the road is unmade…

Whilst specialising in providing a place of tranquillity for those in leadership, we would never turn away a request – so please do apply if you sense the Lord is calling you to ‘come away and be at rest’ with Him.
